I am a firm believer in Scripture, so I hold that “the authorities that exist have been established by God” (Romans 13:1). I also believe as it is written in 2 Timothy 2:3-4 that a good soldier of Jesus Christ does not entangle himself in civilian affairs. But, since authority in these United States is vested in the people, I sometimes feel there is an overlap between Christian duty and world events. In those cases I will sometimes post articles clarifying the Biblical world view in hopes that fellow believers will not become distracted from their true purpose.
